Aloo Gobi - Cauliflower Curry with potatoes

How pretty yellow, it looks like you see in Bento from yesterday ^ ^

I was recently in buying land and have blue looking for (purple) potatoes, as tokens had reported in her blog about it. Unfortunately there is no us, but red skinned "Linda". Very yellow from the inside, slightly mealy, very potato (ie more intense taste than the normal) and very tasty!!

Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower (or a 3 / 4 bag of frozen)
400g potatoes
4EL oil (for me threw olive oil)
1 teaspoon mustard seeds (actually black, I had only yellow)
1 -1 1 / 2 tsp Turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin (I had less of it, treasure is not but cumin friend)
1 / 2 teaspoon ground coriander
1 / 2 teaspoon cayenne peppers
1 crushed garlic clove
1 small chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt (or 1.5 tsp vegetable stock powder)
200mL
wash water 150g chopped tomatoes (or just over half an can) 2 tablespoons lemon juice

cauliflower and divide into florets. Potatoes parboil (not quite as I did ... grrr). Oil in frying pan, add spices, garlic and onion and sauté over low heat and constant stirring. Cauliflower to sauté 5 minutes, water and salt, simmer for 5 minutes can be. Dice the potatoes and add, cook for 10 minutes again easily. Tomatoes and lemon to let simmer for 3-5min.

fits in with this red dhal and rice ... Bento gabs in rice without lenses (dhal), but tasty ^ ^

recipe was, incidentally, comes from the following, great cookbook:

There it mitlerweile 4 volumes. I have (for now) only volume 1
The recipes are all vegetarian, some have . Vegan Each drink is a (punk) music as a recommendation. So far everything was easy and always delicious nachzukochen tasted:)
